Awa (阿波郡; -gun) is a district located in Tokushima, Japan. As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 24,959 and a density of 206.20 persons per km². The total area is 121.04 km².

Towns and villages

On April 1, 2005, the district merged with two towns from Itano District to form the new city of Awa, therefore, the district cease to exist.
