The Australian Debating Federation (ADF) is a body which oversees schools debating in Australia. The ADF has eight affliate organisations, representing the eight states and territories of Australia. These affliate associations are:

These organisations run debating activities within their regions, with the support of the ADF. The ADF has an Executive Committee which is responsible for the federation's administration and the development of debating on a national level. The ADF runs the annual Australian National Schools Debating Championships, which is contested by eight teams selected and organized by the affiliate associations, representing Australia's eight states and territories. The ADF selectes five strong-performing students from the national championships each year to form the Australian National Schools Debating Team, which represents Australia at the World Schools Debating Championships. Over 25,000 students across Australia take part in debating events organised by the ADF and its affiliates each year.
