Astro Wah Lai Toi

Astro Wah Lai Toi is a Cantonese-generic subscription television channel from Malaysia, which is provided by Astro. It is described to be similar in style with Hong Kong television, particularly that of TVB, and indeed, offers mainly TVB programming, alongside some local content. Selected programmes, particularly primetime drama slots, are available in dual audio, in which viewers can select either to watch the programme in Cantonese or Mandarin (or original language of the programme). These drama also has subtitle in Bahasa Malaysia. Astro had been mistaken for holding an exclusive right as the sole pay-TV service in Malaysia to broadcast TVB programmes; rather, it holds such right to broadcast TVB programmes on the entire of one channel which it runs.
