The Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA), Inc., is the leading international organization of locksmiths based in Texas. ALOA requires its members to actively participate in industry education, some of which is available through the association. In its Proficiency Registration Program (PRP), ALOA offers four locksmith designations:

ALOA holds frequent PRP exam sessions for experienced locksmiths. ALOA owns the Safe and Vault Technicians Association (SAVTA) and proctors the examinations for its specialty certifications as well.
