Arya (Telugu: ఆర్య) is a Telugu film which released on May 7, 2004 and was directed by Sukumar. This film has Allu Arjun in the main lead. Though Arjun's first film was hit, he wasn't quite recognized by Tollywood. But this film made him a popular star.

Plot

Ajay (Siva Balaji) is a spoiled brat, and is the son of local MP Avataram (Rajan P Dev). He loves Geeta (Anuradha Mehta) and proposes to her. When she refuses, he threatens to jump from the college roof. Being a meek girl, Geeta accepts the proposal and starts dating him. Arya (Allu Arjun) is a carefree guy with positive attitude. He falls in love with Geeta at first sight. He proposes to her in front of her boyfriend. She bluntly refuses. The rest of the film is all about how Arya wins Geeta with his attitude and positive outlook, and how Arya shows Geeta and Ajay the true meaning of love.
