Arthur Chandler was a professional footballer in the 1920s and 1930s. He is most famous at Leicester City, where he is the clubs all time record goal scorer, with 273 goals. In 1928 Chandler scored 6 goals against Portsmouth in the F.A. Cup Semi-Final staged at Filbert Street. Leicester City won 10-0 which is a record league victory.

Actually it was a league record being Leicester's biggest ever league win and was not a FA Cup Semi Final.

Apparently Six Doves flew over the pitch just before Arthur Chandler scored his sixth goal.
