April Hunter (born September 24, 1974) is an American former professional wrestler, valet and fitness and glamour model.

Early life
April Hunter was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but moved to Enterprise, Alabama with her father when her parents divorced.[1] She attended college in Philadelphia, majoring in English, Biology and Chemistry, but dropped out after several years. At the age of nineteen, she began working as an exotic dancer and then an adult centerfold and fitness model. She was featured in many men's magazines regularly such as Playboy, MuscleMag Int'l, Ironman, Maxim and various comic books. She has a huge online fan following (site: www.aprilhunter.com) and was voted Most Popular Redhead On The Internet several years in a row.[2]
Career
Modeling
At the age of 14, April Hunter began modeling. When she was 19 she embarked on her centerfold career and has appeared in nearly every men's and fitness magazine. She competed in fitness briefly placing in Ms. Fitness Philadephia and Ironwoman Tri-Fitness, but preferred beging a fitness centerfold. Her amazonian physique and exotic yet girl-next-door looks kept her in high demand.
World Championship Wrestling
In 2000 after seeing Hunter in Playboy, she was hired by Terry Taylor on behalf of World Championship Wrestling (after they saw her layout in Playboy) as a member of the "Black and White" nWo.[1] Along with four other models (Tylene Buck, Pamela Paulshock, Midajah and Kim Kanner) she accompanied members of the nWo to ringside for their matches. Hunter left WCW later that year to become a fully trained wrestler.
Independent circuit
In 2001, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts to train under Killer Kowalski.[2][3] She also began working on the independent circuit and overseas. Hunter also formed a tag team with fellow Kowalski graduate Nikki Roxx/Roxxi Laveaux in World Xtreme Wrestling known as The Killer Babes.[2] Hunter also went on to form the tag team T & A. Hunter has wrestled in Mexico for promotions such as AAA and Lucha Libre Femenil, Japan for Neo, A to Z and Zero One, Germany for Stampede, UK for Big Time, Canada for PWX and Great Canadian, France for France-Catch and in Puerto Rico for IWA Puerto Rico.
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling
On August 28, 2002, Hunter made several appearances as a TNA Knockout for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. She was introduced (and defeated) by then-Miss TNA Bruce as part of his Miss TNA Challenge.
The independent circuit
Hunter then continued to work the independent circuit and has competed for multiple American promotions, fighting and defeating both men and women, including Ring of Honor. She has toured Europe, Japan, Puerto Rico, Canada, Ireland and Mexico several times. Hunter has also made guest appearances with Carmen Electra's Naked Women's Wrestling League.
In-ring retirement -- but still ringside
April will be retiring from the in-ring portion of professional wrestling due to accumulated injuries, but can still be found ringside as a pro wrestling manager/valet and is currently still modeling for various publications.

Personal life
April's background is Scottish, Italian and German. Her father was Scottish and they are descendants of Robert the Bruce. On August 30 2006, April married Canadian wrestler, Jordan Danyluk, aka J.D. Michaels, in a small, private ceremony at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada.[4] She is also becoming a known photographer and journalist, with several photographs and articles published. April speaks some Spanish, German and French.
