Apache Felix is an open source implementation of the OSGi Alliance Release 4 framework standard. The initial codebase was donated from the Oscar project at ObjectWeb [1].The developers have worked very hard on Felix for a full year and have made various improvements while retaining footprint and performance. In June 21 2007, the project graduated from incubation and is a top level project at Apache[2].
