Antonia Juhasz is an author and political activist who was the project director of the International Forum on Globalization in San Francisco. She is a visiting scholar at the Institute for Policy Studies and Foreign Policy in Focus, and is a director of Oil Change International. She is the author of The Bush Agenda: Invading the World One Economy at a Time (2006). She has an undergraduate degree in public policy from Brown University and a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and served as a legislative assistant to two members of Congress, John Conyers Jr. of Michigan and Elijah Cummings of Maryland (The Bush Agenda, pp. 14-16). Her other writings include a book, Alternatives to Economic Globalization: a Better World Is Possible, and an article in Left Turn magazine “Ambitions of Empire: the Radical Reconstruction of Iraq’s Economy” for which she received the 2004 Project Censored award. Her work has been published in the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times "It's Still about Oil", Democracy Now, NPR, Cambridge University International Relations Journal and others. She recently wrote a piece for the 2007 book, A Game As Old As Empire called Global Uprising: The Web of Resistance.
