Antonia "Toni" Campbell-Hughes is an actress and fashion designer of English and Irish descent. She is best known for playing Sam in Jack Dee's sitcom Lead Balloon. She has also appeared in popular UK TV series such as Silent Witness, Casualty, and The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle, in cult hit films Shaun of the Dead and Neil Jordan's Breakfast on Pluto, and on stage in productions such as Roberto Zucco. She ran a clothing line that sold internationally under her own name and a diffusion line for high street store Topshop.
Background
Campbell-Hughes' father is from Liverpool. She was born in Ireland and lived in a number of countries during her childhood including, the U.S., Germany and Switzerland. She attended St Andrews College Blackrock, Dublin and then studied at Ireland's National College of Art and Design and later the Grafton Academy.
