In Ufology, Andromedans is the name given to what are said to be a group of "ascended" extraterrestrials [1] or "space aliens" [2] from the Andromeda Galaxy. They are also described as archangels and "omnipresent light beings" who are "overseers" concerned about humanity's evolution. [1] Contactees who say that they have been in contact with the Andromedans include Alex Collier. [3] Andromeda is a large, nearby (in terms of intergalactic distances) galaxy. It contains an estimated one trillion stars. The possibility exists that some form of extraterrestrial life has evolved there. However the distance such life would have to travel to reach Earth is far greater than could be imagined with conventional rocket science.
