Andrew Christopher Stanton Jr. (born December 3, 1965 in Rockport, Massachusetts) is an American animated films director, screenwriter, as well as a voice actor. His most notable film work is writing and directing Pixar's Finding Nemo, which received an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film in 2004. Stanton is almost done working on WALL-E set for release in 2008. Stanton has also started working on John Carter of Mars set for release early 2012. He's stated that two of his favorite filmmakers are David Lean and David Mamet.
