Recent Activity
Nottingham Open, Nottingham
In this tournament Seppi reached the semi-finals on one of the last warm-up tournamnets for Wimbledon. On his way to the semi finals he beat Stanislas Wawrinka 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 in the 1st round. Seppi then upset 2nd seed Dominik Hrbaty in the next round with a straight sets win 7-5, 7-5. In the Quarters he played Andy Murray and was able to get through in 3 sets 7-6, 4-6, 6-1. His tournament ended in the semi final stage when he was put out by the experienced Swede, Jonas Björkman.
Wimbledon 2006
After defeating Britain's Jamie Baker in the first round, Seppi fell in straight sets to Andre Agassi (6-4 7-6(7-2) 6-4).
2007
In Gstaad, he not only was the first Italian since Adriano Panatta in 1976 to reach that final, but it was also his first career final.
