Anandabazar Patrika (Bengali: আনন্দবাজার পত্রিকা Anôndobajar Potrika) is a Bengali language newspaper published from Kolkata and Siliguri by Anandabazar Patrika Limited (ABP) (an enterprise of Ananda Publishers). With 1,130,167 daily copies, it has the largest circulation for a single-edition, regional language newspaper in India.[2] Anandabazar is considered by many to be the most popular Bengali newspaper in India. Currently, the circulation of this newspaper is more than a million a day and is concurrently published from Kolkata, New Delhi, and few other cities. The paper was founded in 1922 by Prafulla Chandra Sarkar who was the editor as well. It is the most circulated Bengali daily. Its supplements include the Sunday Supplement, Rabibasario, and the Saturday Supplement, Patrika. The Rabibasario has a children's page called Anandamela. Other supplements include Kajer Bazar. In addition its editions have a special supplement for the particular place from which the edition is published e.g. "Kolkata" for the Kolkata edition. Presently, the newspaper is edited by Mr Abheek Sarkar. The Anandabazar Group of Publications, now christened as ABP Ltd, publishes several newspapers/periodicals. These include:

The Bengali magazines and the Anandabazar Patrika bring out special festive numbers during Durga Puja Earlier the group also used to publish a daily called Hindustan Standard, which has now been stopped, and a business daily, Business Standard, whose ownership has changed. The group also owns a 24-hour Bengali news channel named Star Ananda, jointly with STAR India. It also owns (Pearson) Penguin India, which licences the imprint from Penguin UK.
