Single and album track "Analogue (All I Want)" was re-recorded and re-written from the first version produced for the album. "Minor Key Sonata" was the original version, and (like the rest of the album) was produced by Martin Terefe and mixed by Flood. Max Martin was brought in to turn "Minor Key Sonata (Analogue)" into a more commercially-friendly product - with a less surreal lyric, and catchier chorus. "Analogue (All I Want)" became a hit in the UK, and is the only track on the album not produced by Terefe.
The B-side "Case Closed on Silver Shore" was also produced during the Analogue sessions, produced by Terefe, and mixed by Flood. It is a Waaktaar-Savoy composition, and fits the mood of the album. With the theme of violence and murder, it could be seen as a companion piece to "I've Been Losing You."
The lead vocal on "The Summers of Our Youth" is handled by Furuholmen, with Harket joining him on the chorus.
In their live version of " Holyground ", Pål plays an omnichord.
