Ami Sands Brodoff is an award-winning author who lives in Montreal, Quebec. Brodoff has published two books. Her first, Can You See Me, is a novel based on her personal experience of living with a schizophrenic relative. Bloodknots, her newest, is a collection of short stories, and was short-listed for the Re-Lit Awards. She has recently completed her third book, a novel entitled The White Space Between. Brodoff has frequently written for such local magazines and newspapers as the Globe and Mail, the Montreal Gazette and the Montreal Review of Books. She has won numerous fellowships to various colonies including Yaddo and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Brodoff is on the board for the Quebec Writer's Federation.
