Amazilia is a genus of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. Some of these species are sometimes placed in the genera Agyrtria, Polyerata or Saucerottia, but most authorities, notably SACC, do not accept the validity of these, instead placing them in the more traditional Amazilia (as done in the list below). Two additional species now more commonly included in Leucippus and a third species variably placed in Leucippus or the monotypic Taphrospilus, are not included in the list below (see Leucippus for additional information).
