Alonzo Clemons is an American animal sculptor and an autistic savant. He lives in Boulder, Colorado. Clemons is developmentally disabled. However, since his childhood, he has been creating very accurate animal sculptures out of clay. In 1986 he had a premiere exhibit in Aspen, Colorado. Clemons can create a sculpture of almost any animal, even if he has seen only a glimpse of it. He can create a sculpture in about an hour and his clay animals are correct in every detail.
