Allenby Beardsley (アレンビー・ビアズリー Arenbī Biazurī?) is a fictional character from the anime series Mobile Fighter G Gundam. She is voiced by Narumi Hidaka in the original Japanese version and by Carol-Anne Day in the English dub.

Profile

Allenby is a seventeen year old Gundam Fighter for Neo-Sweden. Apparently orphaned, she was raised by her nation's military where she holds the rank of Lieutenant. Allenby's life was not a happy one as the military used her in their tests to create the perfect Gundam Fighter. This was achieved by use of the Berzerker System, a special brainwashing system to designed to turn Allenby into a crazed brute with 120% increase in performance. Allenby hates the military, but due to her position she can't openly question them; she feels that it's unfair to be their puppet and wants to have the life of her own she's been denied by them. Allenby fared well in the Survival Eleven of the 13th Gundam Fight and made it to the finals in Neo-Hong Kong. Despite her own talents in combat, her nations default strategy was to activate the Berzerker System as soon as possible and thus allow Allenby and her GF13-050NSW Nobel Gundam a quick victory. It was during one such occasion after having beaten Argo Gulskii and his GF13-013NR Bolt Gundam that she came to the attention of Domon Kasshu. Domon first encountered her in a video arcade where she was using her fighting skills to beat all competitors at a virtual reality fighting game. Impressed, Domon challenged her and the subsequent clash of two professional fighters using a machine meant for civilians blew the game up. As Allenby fled the chaos she revealed her identity to her opponent, much to Domon's surprise. The next time they find each other, Domon and Allenby are forced to fight each other in an official match. One of the doctors in the team activates the Berserker System since she's losing, so Allenby loses control of herself and starts beating up Domon, but he manages to break through it and brings his new friend back to her senses; she breaks free but collapses, losing the fight. Allenby spends her time hanging out with Domon (to the chagrin of Rain, who hides her feelings of distress as much as she can) and develops a crush on him, until Won Yun Fat decides to make her the new pilot for the Devil Gundam. During a team tag fight where Domon is her partner, she's forced to go into Berserker mode and ends up seriously injured, only to be kidnapped by Wong's henchmen and placed in the cockpit of the Walter Gundam. Under the influence of both the Berzerker Mode *and* DG Cells, she relentlessly attacks Domon and later Rain in the Battle Royale stage; Rain manages to seemingly destroy the Walter Gundam without killing Allenby, and her now reformed father tends to her wound and heals her from the DG Cells. In the final battle, both she and Kyral (of Neo Nepal) lead the attack on the Devil Gundam. Now back to her senses, Allenby tells Domon about Rain leaving to Neo Japan. After urging him to go after her, she joins the final fight against the Devil Gundam, playing a key role as she tells Domon to speak to Rain (now the Seitai Unit of the Devil Gundam) and save her through their love.
