Alison Hammond (born 5 February 1975) is a British television presenter. She first became famous after appearing on the third series of Big Brother in 2002. She was the second to be evicted when she left on day 15. Since leaving the house, Alison has appeared on many television programmes. These include losing the most amount of weight on Celebrity Fit Club and losing a challenge on Celebrities Under Pressure. She has also appeared on Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes, performing as Nina Simone, Celebrity Ready Steady Cook, as a panellist on ITV's Loose Women, as a presenter on the short-lived ITV Play channel and in 2004 she played herself in Christmas Lights opposite Robson Green. Since 2002, Hammond has been a part of the presenting team of ITV's popular daytime programme This Morning, on which her memorable interviews with many A List Celebrities have become notorious. Alison was born and raised in Birmingham. She was a child actress before becoming a Holiday Rep for Airtours in Tunisia, mostly, but also in other resorts before her TV debut. She now commutes to London for her television assignments. On 5 February 2005, Alison gave birth to her first child, a boy called Aiden. Prior to this, she had a scan live on television, where it was revealed that the baby was a boy.
