Alicia St. Rose (b. December 27, 1964) is an American pastel painter best known for utilizing photorealistic techniques to achieve heighened light, shadow and texture in a variety of subjects. She enhances photographic qualities in each of her paintings, achieving a hyperreal appearance. St. Rose's hyperrealism is primarily unique due to her use of colors hidden in shadows which define intricate details revealed by light.
