Alan Osório da Costa Silva, best known as Alan (born 19 September 1979 in Salvador, Brazil is a Brazilian football (soccer) player, who currently plays in Portugal for V. Guimarães on loan from FC Porto for the 2007-2008 season. He joined FC Porto from Portuguese outfit CS Marítimo in 2005. Alan is a player with good techique skills and explosive speed.
