Agar is a set of computer graphics libraries used by many applications including 2D/3D computer games, visualization tools, graphical editors and simulations. Agar applications are portable to a variety of operating systems and graphics APIs, such as SDL and OpenGL. Agar is open source, released under a revised (two-clause) BSD license. The project has been in development since early 2002, and Agar 1.0 was released on October 2005. The main libraries included in the distribution are:
