Adora (31°33′N, 35°01′E; Hebrew: אדורה‎, also Adorah) is a communal settlement and Israeli settlement in the southern West Bank area of Judea, northwest of Hebron, and under the jurisdiction of the Har Hebron Regional Council. Adora is named after the biblical town of the same name, now the Palestinian town of Dura, four km south. Adora, located at an altitude 692 metres (2270 feet), was established in 1982 as a pioneer Nahal para-military outpost and demilitarized two years later when handed over to civilians. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics, as of 2004, it was home to 183.
