Abraham Dee Bartlett (1812 - 1897) was a British zoologist. Bartlett had a small natural history shop near to the British Museum where he sold the products of his taxidermy business. He later became superintendent of London Zoo from 1859 to 1897. He published numerous articles on the observations he made at the zoo. These were published after his death in two books, Wild Animals in Captivity (1898) and Life among Wild Beasts in 'the Zoo' (1900). He was the father of zoologist Edward Bartlett.
