A Time to Kill is a 2004 novel by David Mack set in the fictional universe of Star Trek: The Next Generation. It is the 7th in the series "A time to..." novels, depicting the events that took place before Star Trek Nemesis. It is a sequel to A Time to Hate and prequels A Time to Heal
