A.C.T is a progressive rock band from Sweden. Their debut album, "Today's Report" was released in 1999, their second album, "Imaginary Friends" in 2001, and their third album, "Last Epic" in 2003. A.C.T's fourth studio album, "Silence," was released in October 2006 and is claimed on their web site to have "climbed to number 4 on the album charts in their native Sweden". However, the album does not show up anywhere in the Top 60 of the official Swedish album charts of late 2006 or early 2007 as listed on Hitparad.se. The claim seems to be based on a temporary position on Swedish Online CD retailer Ginza.se's site chart, which is neither official nor in any way controlled. A.C.T's musical style is eclectic, but somewhat similar to Yes, Saga, Supertramp, Rush, Dream Theater, Styx, Queen, Kansas, Frank Zappa, Jethro Tull, Electric Light Orchestra, Genesis, Toto, and the Beatles.
