2nd II None is a rap group from Compton, California. It consists of cousins KK (born K. McDonald) and Gangsta D (born D. Barnett)

History

Early years

They released their first album in 1991, the self-titled 2nd II None in Profile Records. Their second album, Classic 220 in Arista Records, came eight full years after their debut. Their albums were mainly produced by childhood friend and rapper/producer DJ Quik. Both of the group's albums reached the Billboard 200 album chart and entered the top 40 on Billboard's R&B/hip-hop album chart.
