Çetin Alp (June 21, 1947May 18, 2004) was a Turkish pop music singer. Çetin Alp & The Short Waves performed Turkey's entry, Opera, in the Eurovision Song Contest 1983 in Germany. He was born on June 21, 1947 in Malatya, Turkey, and he died on May 18, 2004 in Istanbul.
