Ángel is the third single from Belinda's debut album, Belinda. It was a massive hit in Mexico and an important international hit for Belinda. The song stayed at No. 1 in Mexico for 6 weeks and reached the top 5 in every country it charted in, including Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Central America, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Spain. The song positioned Belinda as the prime teen entertainer in Latin America.
Video
In the video, Belinda has visions of the boyfriend dying in a car crash. The song asks "¿Cuándo se va a terminar o cuando se hará realidad?" meaning "When is it going to be over or when is it going to be reality?" She states that her boyfriend is her 'Ángel'. The actor who portrayed the boyfriend, in real life is friends with Belinda his name is Eddy Vilard.
