The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium ((ISC)2) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Palm Harbor, Florida. The organization's flagship certification, CISSP, is considered a benchmark for the information security profession. The organization is internationally recognised with over 45,000 information security professionals in more than 120 countries. The organization maintains what it calls a Common Body of Knowledge for information security for the following certifications:

  • CISSP
  • Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP ®)
  • Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP ®)
  • Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP ®)
  • Certification and Accreditation Professional (CAP CM)
  • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP ®)

Several of (ISC)²'s credentials meet the requirements of ANSI/ISO/IEC Standard 17024, a global benchmark for assessing and certifying personnel.
