A Biblical book among the canon of *Minor Prophets. It was written in the 6th Century BCE after the Babylonian conquest and the destruction of the *Temple. Its central question is why do the wicked prosper. The three chapters of the book contain five short oracles and a prayer which affirms the *prophet’s trust in *God.
