As against the *Orthodox, adherents of Conservative Judaism accept that some elements of the *halakhah should be modified, but, unlike the *Reform, they believe in the validity of the traditional forms and precepts. The movement supports its own *rabbinical seminary (the Jewish Theological Seminary of America) a rabbinical association (the Rabbinical Assembly of America) and congregational organisation (the United Synagogue of America).
