air conditioning

A system of controlling or maintaining the atmosphere within buildings, usually employing a single integrated piece of plant or equipment. True air conditioning manages parameters of temperature, humidity and particulate material (dust), although the term is often commonly applied to systems that control temperature and humidity alone.
