Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald

At the beginning of the novel, Zelda is a 17-year-old girl, who is beautiful, mischievous, and a bit of a tomboy. She grows up in Montgomery, Alabama, and is the youngest of five children. With Zelda’s father being the town’s court judge, the Sayres are a well-known family in Montgomery. Zelda is known for her careless flirtations with men, until her whole life is turned around upon meeting Scott Fitzgerald.
