That afternoon, Pete is waiting in the living room. Will and Carson come in. Pete comments on how long they've been and asks Will how it went at the bank. Will says it was a courtesy call. He talked to a man younger than Carson who said that in the bank's opinion, the time wasn't right to start a new business.
