Summary

In Chapter 9, Grace was afraid because she did not know where Jonathan might be or the best way to go about finding out where he was without insinuating to anyone that she was worried. She could not remember where Jonathan said his conference was meeting and he had not given her the name of the hotel in which he would be staying. Grace remembered that about 15 years before, Jonathan had disappeared for a couple of days. He came home looking more alert than he should have for a man who claimed he worked back-to-back shifts.
