Lillian

Lillian Linden is one of the two main characters in the novel “Wreckage” by Emily Bleeker. Lillian is the husband of Jerry and mother of Josh and Daniel. She is the daughter-in-law of Margaret, and is the daughter of a minister and his wife. Lillian appears to be very pretty and in her thirties. She is gentle, thoughtful, and very much loves her family. She has taken time off from teaching to raise her children as a stay-at-home mom. She travels with Margaret to Fiji for an all-expenses-paid vacation, during which time she first meets Dave during the second part of the stay. She feels the need to comfort Dave given his wife’s miscarriage. When the plane crashes into the water, Lillian reacts quickly, helping to free Dave from his seatbelt, and then working with Dave to bring the unconscious Margaret to the life raft.
