Summary

Chapter 15, Dave – This chapter occurs in the present. Dave reflects on how the worst enemy on the island wasn’t hunger, but humanity. Dave explains to Genevieve that the island was about two or three miles in circumference, with fruit trees, a lagoon with fish, and a spring-fed freshwater pond. Dave explains they built a bamboo shelter, built a water catcher, ate snails, and used spears to fish essentially doing everything they could to survive. He explains that Kent, as a pilot, was a take-charge kind of guy, and that everyone worked together to survive.
