Curiosity About One’s Past

Although it is only natural to be curious about one’s past, it is because of this curiosity that people who live in the silos are condemned to die. When Allison begins to put together a program to repair damaged computer programs, she begins to unearth information indicating that there have been multiple uprisings instead of just the one uprising that she and others have been told about. As she delves more and more into the silo’s past, she becomes convinced that the leaders of the silo are lying about the conditions outside. Holston and Juliette follow in Allison’s footsteps, wanting to know why she decided to go outside.
