Silo 18

Silo 18 is the silo from which Juliette is banished. It is the silo in which most of the action of the novel takes place.

Silo 17

Silo 17 is believed to be a dead silo. It is to this silo that Juliette is able to walk after she is sent out to clean from her silo. Juliette discovers a man named Solo living in the silo, as well as a group of teenaged children.

Upper Nursery

It is in the upper nursery of Silo 17 that Juliette’s father works. It is at this nursery that Jahns and Marnes stop on their way up from interviewing Juliette. It is here that Marnes realizes Jahns is bleeding and that she has been poisoned.

Cafeteria

It is in the cafeteria of Silo 18 that Lukas and Juliette meet. It is in this same cafeteria where Holston has to arrest his wife when she begins...
