Summary

In 1927, Rose sits in a movie theater to watch the silent film “Daughter of the Storm” starring her favorite actress, Lillian Mayhew. In the film, the lead actress is wandering through a severe storm with a baby in her arms. She is frightened and desperately looking for shelter when she sees the roof being ripped off a house from the storm. In 1977, Ben is still in his mother’s room when a massive storm begins to materialize outside. He decides to wait out the storm before heading back to his cousins’ house.
