Part Three: Summer Summary

Weird Kids - Summer doesn't understand why people question why she sits with August Pullman at lunch. He's a really nice kid. She knows he looks weird, but he's just a kid.

The Plague - She admits that August's face takes some getting used to. Summer sits with him because he is fun. One day as she plays foursquare, she finds out about the Plague, and she thinks it's really dumb.

The Halloween Party - Savannah, a popular girl, invites Summer to her Halloween party. Summer is very excited. When she gets there, the popular crowd tells her that she could hang out with them if she stopped hanging out with August. Summer calls her mom to pick her up.

November - When August comes back to school, he acts strangely. Summer attributes it to the stomach bug. When...
