Part Two: Via Summary

A Tour of the Galaxy - Via feels as if August is the sun and the rest of family members orbit around him. The only one that doesn't is the dog, Daisy, because to her everyone seems alike. Via sees to how this works, and she understands it. She sees all the hardship Auggie goes through, and doesn't feel she has it right to complain. She also tries to make sure she doesn't take up her mom and dad's attention on petty details. This year, however, things seem to be changing.

Before August - Via doesn't really remember life before August. She doesn't even remember when he came home from the hospital. People tell her that she said that he didn't look like the doll she had been given, but after she got used to him, she never touched...
