Summary

In Chapter 30, Grady tells Terry about what has happened with James, and Terry agrees to help Grady covertly retrieve James. Grady also tells Terry about Doctor Dee and shows Terry the dog’s corpse, which is still in the trunk. In Chapter 31, Grady and Terry drive to the affluent Sewickley Heights neighborhood. Grady and Terry park near Fred and Amanda’s house. They look in the basement windows and see that James’ bedroom is on the basement level. The room is rather large and lavishly decorated. One corner of the room is dedicated entirely to old Hollywood memorabilia. James sees Grady and Terry and lets them in.
