Summary

Lady narrated the next few sections. She woke up in the morning after drinking all night with S and got a call from a lawyer. Her mother had died in a car accident and had left everything to Lady. Karl called Lady and she told him what happened and asked him to go to her mother’s house with her to meet the lawyer and sign paperwork. They arrived and the lawyer left. Devin ran into the yard to play. Lady and Karl argued about their marriage. He accused her of pushing him away. She accused him of letting her. He asked her if she wanted to be married to him, but then Devin ran in and asked Lady if they could go see her friend Marco. She fainted.
