Smith & Wesson Revolver

The Smith & Wesson Revolver is a symbol of illegal activity. This gun represents illegal activity first because it was determined by the ballistics expert to be the gun that killed Eileen and Son. Regardless of who did the shooting, the gun is a murder weapon. The gun was then planted in Junior’s truck to be discovered by Willard. Willard’s search of the truck was illegal not only because he had no search warrant but also because he did not have probable cause to suspect that Junior was involved in the murders. Admission of the gun into evidence at the trial was also technically not legal since it was found during an illegal search.
