Summary

This section begins with "Every Day I'm Hustling" which sets the tone for the chapters that follow. With newfound resolve, Emoni is working extra hours in the school kitchen as part of her fund-raising activities. Her ideas to raise money, open a cafe for staff and cater Winter Dinner, are approved but with it comes more responsibilities. Emoni gets up an hour and a half early to prep for the cafe. These tasks are done on top of Emoni's already busy schedule of academics, employment at the Burger Joint, and caring for Babygirl. Emoni is anxious about raising the funds for Spain and repeatedly goes over the numbers.
