Act 5, Scene 2 Summary

Autolycus and a gentleman enter. The gentleman was explaining how he was in attendance when the shepherd and Clown opened the buddle they were carrying, presenting it to the king. After that, he was ordered out but only after he heard that the shepherd had found the baby. The gentleman said that there was an immediate change in the king and Camillo; they were both amazed. A second gentleman enters. He remarks that the oracle has been fulfilled, the king's daughter has been found. A third gentleman enters. He confirms the evidence of Hermione's mantle, jewel and Antigonus' letters that prove that Perdita is the king's daughter. He also points out that she has a very close resemblance to the late queen, and has a royal pose unfitting for the daughter.....
