Saunas

In Chapter Two of Section 1, the author uses the Scandinavian experience of sitting in heated saunas as an example of a healing experience that can make the experience of "wintering" easier. She does not have a particularly good personal experience, but nevertheless offers a clear portrayal of the practice's potential values.
